Introduction to S&C - Youth

A general programme for young athletes looking to introduce strength and conditioning into thier schedule. This programme includes strength and conditioning sessions designed to be completed at or around the home using minimal equipment for convenience.


This programme has two primary aims:

1) Enhance physical performance

2) Reduce injury risk


There are three components to this programme to allow you to achieve the aims:

1) Home based strength development sessions (2 x per week)

2) Field/cycle based aerobic conditioning (1-2 x per week)

3) Recovery guidance


The programme includes 2 x home strength sessions complete with exercise videos. There is a also 3 x conditioning sessions desinged to improve fitness for the young athlete, using just a sports field, bike or pool.


This 6-8 week programme includes:

2 x Strength sessions 

3 x Aerobic conditioning sessions

1 x Recovery guidance tool
